AHHH, I DO LOVE THE INTERPLAY OF IDEAS AND PERSONALITIES ON CRYONET!

Greetings, all.

From: Rudi Hoffman CFP,

I wanted to comment on the FORBES article mentioned in Steve Bridges post.

I was called by the Forbes writer, to comment about the use of insurance to
fund cryonic suspension.

Since this is a topic I think night and day about, needless to say, I was
about to "jump out of my skin" with excitement!

Jesus! Forbes goes to some of the most influential and wealthy people on the
planet. This could be huge!

My rational and skeptical side was cautioning me, and reminding me of many
other "free publicity" situations that have not turned out to be particularly
great for ALCOR and cryonics...but I am a positive kind of guy...and, besides,
I take a lot of vitamins, herbs, St. John's Wort, and tapes to keep my
neurochemistry bright...and maybe we are gonna break it loose like Dolly the
sheep did for cloning...

I have yet to see the article, altho I spoke with someone today who said it
was somewhat disappointing.

So, even if it is bad...and...from a more personal point of view, if this son
of a buck writer did not use any of the great verbage I gave him and did not
wind up the article with ..."and call Rudi Hoffman to fund your cryonic
suspension at 1-800-749-3773..."

The stars will stay in their courses.

But a bunch of great brains are going to be lost that perhaps do not have to
become mud...

Boundless Life to All.
