The new Alcor Medical Advisory Board is currently made up of four physicians:

Douglas Berger, M.D.
Ravin Jain, M.D. 
Thomas Munson, M.D.
Robert Newport, M.D.

Expertise on  the Alcor Medical Advisory Board covers the areas of
pharmaceuticals, and neurology.  Thomas Munson, M.D. is Alcor's Medical

The Scientific Advisory Board is currently made up of five scientists:

Eric. K. Drexler, Ph.D.
Bart Kosko, Ph.D. 
James B. Lewis, Ph.D. 
Ralph Merkle, Ph.D.
Marvin Minsky, Ph.D. 

Expertise on  the  Alcor Scientific Advisory Board covers the areas of
logic, biochemistry, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence. 
A Steering Committee, lead by Ralph Merkle, Ph.D.,  was formed within the
Medical and Scientific Advisory Board to attract additional  physicians and
scientists to participate.  The Committee reviews the credentials of
in order to keep the MSAB at a quality level that will not only be prestigeous
for Alcor but also continue to attract strong candidates.  If you would
