Subject: Trusts and a bit guns.

Sweden are not famous for liberal taxlaws, the trustfundlaw was very liberal,
now changed for better and worse, and may be changed again. Our laws are in one
thick book and easy mostly to understand.
For those of you in US, Bermuda may be an option, translations are one problem.
We over here like to keep our assets closer to us. A Swedish "Stiftelse" are
ruled by a special fairly new law. Its like putting money in a company but with
no owner. Depending on its use Holland may be better, Ingvar Kamprad whos
starting up IKEA furniture warehouses all over, has his there.

I have only told what I've done, dont normally give legal advice, only for
friends with moderation within limits of time, are normally busy on the
stockmarket, but will pursue this common interest to a limit unknown now. Sorry
for this disclaimer, I had the same situation 8 years ago, gave some help to
someone who wished to sell a house to me, got emergency legal aid from me

instead after begging phonecalls for aid with the promise to pay for my hundreds
of lost hours, I now have in court to get paid for and have an out of court
settlement he broke after one week.
I will not write trusts for others I assume for the time being, a lawyerfriend
of mine have also read that law.

Anyway you can not have a personal family-trust tax-free here, I have a more
public trust written to suit me. I wouldn't like to have one like that with our
taxes. Instead I have a trust written as seem to suit me in its rules. A public
trust must give away at least 80% of its income within 5 years, for research

i.e. Cryonics or what I work with otherwise. So its not your money anymore. Open
for foreigners here I dont know without checking but guess so. Its then all up
to the board what to do. I have not had time to compare it with personal trusts

abroad, once I know where I will sign up and live I will check it up more, since

I imagine its a little hard to feel the wibes abroad from the government here if
they start to dislike trusts more. They are already rewising the new law due to
some cheating in collectionfunds, not in my area where we dont cheat and dont
collect, after a model from the very rich earn honest money and give away
instead.

A lot of Swedes have trusts in i.e Lichtenstein and Gibraltar due to other forms
of business, mainly of taxreasons. As I stated the government has already made
fuzz on taxation but was stopped when I wrote of what good-doers they chase

abroad then. Its not the end of the world to pay some taxes, but I rather let it
go to research I decide on instead of i.e. asylumabusers as cost a lot here and
the majority here dont like to provide for. Therefore my fund has a rule to go
abroad if its not tax-free here. So far I've compared to have it abroad to some
extent and hasn't found any benefits so far.

One danger pointed out are the CO2 and what will happen when infrastructure
fails, OSB ladies (are there any?) and gentlemen. There are so few ladies in
here people may think we all are a bunch of single whackos at a glance.
Good news are that at least some Swedes are trying to get free energy out of
photosynthesis within 20 years, as may go much faster or slower.
Catalytic converters in cars are now damaging the natural photosynthesis, as
makes our oxygen to breed, by sending out gases destroying the ozonlayer,
unknown to most people at least here.

The guncontrol comes in a little bit here too with a little risk when its
tempting to attack someone with a trust. Today we had a shootout in a Swedish
town, ending with 3 in hospital and 2 in jail. Heard of the bus in Seattle, and
saw the case of Williamson in CBS 60 minutes, a mentalcase who flipped out and

shot several unknown to him when he stopped taking profylactica after his doctor
Lipkin got retired, got hospitalcare and 500.000$ in a lawsuit against the

doctor! That are more likely to happen when handguns are more in use, and almost
impossible to avoid.
As far as I understand most families dont carry their handguns around a lot,
mostly have them at home and cant stop any maniacs such as this. Trying to be
neutral and not knowing whats the best in US casual or considered, I just see
what seem to be the best here with a little bit of the same problems, perhaps
get rid of handguns as much as possible and have a rifle at home. On our
education TV I saw programs on riskcalculation, I often do those for myself and
can not always follow statistics, i.e. rather drive belted in a safe car than
fly even though the book says flying is safer. If moving over to US I may get a

gun even if the book says its more risky. Its all a matter of nerves and what we
do. Just saw When animals attack, better have a gun at hand then. Reasons for
and against are not hard to find. Trust in guns or have guns at trust? Todays
wordgame at Saturday night?

After a long healthy(?) walk in snow ice and slosh struggling to get food home.
Sincerely
Thomas Nord
