Subject: Thaw

What is the current thinking on thawing a cryonically preserved organism
(for the case of ressurection)? I understand that Microwaves were once in
vogue but don't they heat from the inside out? Would high powered heat
lamps be effective, or would a slow steady thaw work just as well? My
other question is how is research done on any humans? I sincerely doubt
that anybody at Alcor (or any other cryonics institute) wouldn't care if
they were destroyed testing an experimental treatment.
