Some Christmas Cheer? Bah, Humbug!

In response to Doug Skrecky's "some christmas cheer" (#10943):

I appreciate most of Doug's posts, especially when he picks up on various
experimental work related to cryonics or cryobiology which I might
otherwise miss. However, the parody on the "Twelve Days of Christmas"
(which he apparently copied and reposted) left me, as they say, "cold". It
has nothing to do with cryonics, cryobiology, or life extension. I also
don't find it amusing.

Yes, people who insist on "political correctness," if they subscribe to all
of the tenets in the "12 Politically Correct Days," look pretty silly. Yet
of the people who have already been frozen, more than one would rise up
from their capsules to defend some of the so-called "politically correct"
ideas the parody ridicules.

Cryonics is not a political movement. It is for anyone who wants to be
frozen. People of all political persuasions are welcome. Let's keep it
that way.

Long life,

Jim Yount
