Swank for pointing out, in CryoNet 11108, an MSNBC article on nanotech. In my opinion, this is a good article on the exciting DNA-based work being done by Ned Seeman & company out in New York. DNA machines are unimpressive from the viewpoint of mature nanotech, but since we don't *have* mature nanotech yet, it's very important to follow the work of guys like Dr. Seeman, who are actually *making* things. Highly recommended. As Mr. Swank pointed out, the article is at: http://www.msnbc.com/news/231805.asp CryoNet readers may also wish to follow the links from this article to some other good nanotech material, including an interview by Bob Sullivan with longtime CryoNet member Ralph Merkle. Ralph covers the basics of nanotech, mentions cryonics, and in my opinion delivers a pretty good RealVideo performance. Also highly recommended. The main article is at: http://www.msnbc.com/news/216526.asp What appears to be the full interview is at: http://www.msnbc.com/news/216539.asp --Will Dye ___________________________________________________________ William L.
