ACS has received word from conference organizer H. Jackson Zinn
of the agenda for upcoming conference, scheduled for May 7-9,
1999 at Don Lauthlin's Riverside Casino, Laughlin, Nevada.


MAY 7th    5:00-7:00 P.M. HAPPY HOUR AT DON'S HIDEAWAY LOUNGE.

MAY 8th    10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. DR.Glenna C. Burmer,M.D.,Ph.D.,
           Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President of Life
           Span Biosciences of Seattle, Washington, will discuss
           research into life extension through genetic engineer-
           ing.

           11:00 A.M. 12:00 noon Ralph Merkle, Ph.D., will discuss
           current developments in nanotechnology and their rela-
           tion to cryonics.


           2:00 4:00 P.M. Dr. Paul SegaLL,Ph.D., and the staff of
           Biotime,Inc., of Berkeley, Ca,vill address the current
           state of the research underway in the area of low temp-
           erature medicine



May 9th    10:00 A.M.-11:OO A.M. Mark Voelker,Ph.D.,will talk
           about the electron microscope and its possible medi-
           cal applications

           11:00 A.M. 12:O0 noon Fred Chamberlain,the President
           of Alcor Life Extension Foundation,will talk about Bio-
           transport and the development of efforts to render emer-
           gency services to cryonics patients.
