X-Message-Number: 11782 From: Daniel Ust <> Subject: Long term prepping for suspension Date: Wed, 19 May 1999 15:56:56 -0400 Does anyone on this list know if there are any long term chemical preparations protocols for suspension? Let me illustrate what I mean. Imagine a person was going to die in six months and knew this - say because she had cancer. Are there any special diets or such that might make her body accrue less damage before and during the suspension process? If there are, then she might start on them, so that her body is better prepared for suspension. If there aren't, might this not be a good area for research? Perhaps we should look at statistics of current cryonics patients to see if it's worth the effort. In other words, do enough people who get suspended know well beforehand when they are going to die? (Forgive me if someone else has suggested this. I have not read everything on this list. Nor have I studied all the cryonics literature.) Cheers!
