  Seriously, I don't see where doctors have anything to do with suicide. It 
should be up to the individual, not any professional group. The only thing 
required from society's point of view is that the suicide be uncoerced; and 
that is a matter for lawyers more than doctors. There isn't anything 
difficult about dying; it doesn't require a doctor's training to kill 
someone. (Although they've shown themselves to be pretty good at killing 
people with nutritional advice, it's hardly a humane way to go).
