It doesn't sound as it will save much money. The storage cost would be
virtually the same, assuming that we also freeze the body. The operation
may be marginally cheaper, in that each part might be done separately,
but I'd emphasize the word "marginally".

It may even be MORE EXPENSIVE. The head is taken off from the body very
late in the procedure; if only the head is wanted, then efforts are
taken to perfuse only the head (as I understand). This means that if we
want to keep the body, we not only also perfuse it completely, but 
also take off the head.

Frankly, if you think about the damage suspension now does to brains,
it's unlikely that if we can repair that we'll for some strange reason be
quite unable to provide the patient with a good body. 

It would be nice to hear from people who actually do suspensions.
