X-Message-Number: 12271 Subject: Re: fly experiment updates soon (CryoNet #12269) Date: Tue, 17 Aug 1999 11:55:37 -0500 From: Will Dye <> Doug, Best wishes on your new fly endeavor, as announced in CryoNet #12269. I don't grep CryoNet as much as I used to, but I'll try to watch for your progress updates at least once in a while. Have you considered putting all of the written material for your experiment on a web page? Foresight has been interested in using hypertext techniques to promote better ways of developing ideas. Minor formatting constraints would make your writing much easier to be annotated by CritLink (http://crit.org), encouraging others to read your work and add annotations of their own to it. This might help promote Crit as a tool for serious scientists, which would probably help Foresight. Lots of places will give you a web page for free, but you have to put up with advertising. If finances are a constraint, and you want to get serious about making this a permanent page for others to annotate with Crit, I would be willing to put it on my own site. Otherwise, you may just want to create a site of your own. --Will William L. Dye Accountability, thy name is "low-cost digital storage".
