and then use it to research cryopreservation?

 Ideas are "ten a penny" - it is implementing them that is the hard bit.
Betamax was a good idea, for example. Corel WordPerfect is better than
Microsoft Word, but Mr Gates is far better at implementation than Corel, so
guess which is the most used word processor. Did you know Corel won't even
give review copies to magazines?
