X-Message-Number: 12324 From: Thomas Donaldson <> Subject: antioxidants and those taken orally Date: Wed, 25 Aug 1999 22:41:21 +1000 (EST) For Gary Tripp: You might look again at my book. Some people think melatonin extends lifespan because it is a good antioxidant with the properties you suggest. Antioxidants able to be taken by mouth already exist. The real problem seems to be just which organs they can easily enter. Melatonin, if it indeed works as an antioxidant, does enter the brain.
