Greetings all,

I have lurked on this list for years and have never posted to the list. I
was thinking about real property this morning and I came upon an idea that I
have not seen expressed in this forum. This may have already been bandied
about and I have missed it, if so I apologize in advance.

I was wondering if it is possible to leave your real property to someone with
certain legal responsibilities attached to ownership. For example, I leave
my land to my son with the obligation that he may not sell it, he may only
transfer ownership to others for free while also transferring the same legal
obligation of not being able to sell the property. If you can do this and
also keep a clause in the contractual agreement that the original owner, upon
successful resuscitation, will have the option to reclaim the property you
may be able to keep your property available to you for centuries. You may
even be able to put a clause that a minimum yearly donation be made to any
   available cryonics organizations.

In a way this would be like the legal rights associated with linux. It may be
freely used and it is a violation of the "copyleft" to sell it.

Comments?

Phillip Labry
