The current bracelet should be replaced by an active device that would trigger upon (impending) death. This could release an audio (and visual alarm) that could be made impossible to turn off without a code from ALCOR. It could also include a smoke detector, etc that could alert the user to life threatening situation. A really sophisticated device would be able to measure blood oxygenation levels. Falck Protek in Denmark offers a "Personal Security Guard" system integrated with the Decca sea navigation network. The system includes a cigarette size personal alarm unit that communicates with the navigation system installed in a car. If the person falls over, the alarm is triggered and the location of the person is transmitted to a central office that is manned 24 hours a day. I read that cattle ranchers in Idaho (?) were testing a "death alarm" that was basically an implanted microwave resonant element. When the animal's body temperature dropped, this could be detected by a satellite (?) mounted transponder. David S.
