In my earlier post today I forgot to mention a very simple option long 
available and in use by at least one CI member. That is to open a brokerage 
account with the member as trustee for the benefit of Cryonics Institute 
(payable to CI on death of the member). Prudential Securities offers this, 
and probably others--we will check out additional brokerages. (In my earlier 
post I talked about mutual funds, not brokerage accounts.)

If you choose this method of accumulating and paying your suspension fee, and 
don't want to be bothered with active management, you could, as previously 
noted, just buy a tech-weighted index fund such as QQQ in your brokerage 
account and add to it periodically.
