Sorry for the prior sloppy posting, hope this comes out ok.

Re: Survivors - I don't think any of my family would look askance at or have
difficulty accepting the idea of longer life for me. In fact, my children
[ages 18 and under] are actually more receptive to the concepts than most
adults I know.  The point is there is a great deal of pre-conception,
misconception, cultural and religous bias [masking fear] on the topic of
death, finality, corpses, etc.

Those wishing to advance the possibilities of cryonic based life extension
need to address those issues as well as the interesting question of how many
nanotech replicators can balance on the head of a pin.

The posting regarding desired cryo-suspension gone awry is a perfect example
of why this is a necessity.  Although no true loved one wishes your life to
be shorter than necessary the decision to cryo-preserve your body has
emotional, personal [not only financial] implications to them as well as
you.  Even though we may be floating in liquid nitrogen we do not exist in a
vacuum.
