Subject: I was touched by David Pizer's comments...

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say how much David Pizer's stories really affected me.
That the adult children of a very wealthy man could have his suspension
agreements cancelled to grub away just a small percentage of his fortune is
horrifying to me. Should any of these people ever want to sign up for
suspension they should be denied if at all possible.

It was tragic about the young woman who lost interest after a medical
professional changed she and her father's mind. But this is I suppose not
uncommon and she should have investigated things more and thought for
herself. It is still a great tragedy though.

And taking someone out of suspension so they can get a "proper burial" is
just to much! I suppose this person simply did not understand. This matter
does make me wonder, is there any kind of ceremony done for the just
suspended at cryonics facilities or is this left to the families, churches
and funeral homes?

I was amused by the quotes you gave. I have heard though that Mariah Carey
actually never made that horribly insensitive statement. It's sort of an
urban myth. That Ms. Alabama was really something, wasn't she? Doing her
state proud! lol It's too bad Timothy Leary did not get suspended because
if both he and Marion Barry had been frozen and reanimated think of all the
fun they would have in the future together! :)

Again, I thank you for these stories that are tragic and yet also
eye-opening. I hope to hear more of them over time.

best regards,

John Grigg
