Hey, that's interesting. It's not clear at all that it has any present 
application but I personally have always thought of cryonics in the broad
sense of "preservation" rather than the narrow sense of "freezing". Someday
we might make a technique like this work. Trehalose I know of, trayilos
I don't but it sounds like a transcription of "trehalose".

Of course cryonics is or should be preservation, without assumptions as to 
method. I'd be dubious of any other method than freezing RIGHT NOW, though.
