I believe I've some minor success, and this will be reported on in future fly longevity updates. Cryoprotectant toxicity is the only remaining significant block to successful reversible whole organ cryopreservation. Paul's funding problems I attribute to the all-or-nothing nature of reversible organ cryopreservation. Either you succeed and become wealthy or you don't, and wind up with nothing. 21'st Century Medicine will likely be the victor, in any case in the race for the perfection of reversible cryopreservation.
