X-Message-Number: 13481 From: "John de Rivaz" <> Subject: funding for cryonics Date: Wed, 5 Apr 2000 17:41:54 +0100 There is a useful (well I think so anyway) web based calculator to enable people to make up their minds as to how to fund cryopreservations on http://www.geocities.com/longevityrpt/lifeins.htm and a links to individual stocks' corporate web pages and also some mutual funds and unit trusts on http://geocities.yahoo.com/longevityrpt/shares.htm I know technology stocks have taken a tumble recently, but it is long term investment that is the aim, and peaks and troughs matter little as long at the overall annual growth keeps to the 20%+ per year it has been for many years previously. It was not surprising that the stocks took a tumble after rising 20% per fortnight for several months - that was unsustainable and I think it remarkable that it went on for so long. The summer months could be volatile, try and buy a little in the troughs, and look to a further sustained rise after the exhibitions and presentations in the autumn. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz my homepage links to Longevity Report, Fractal Report, my singles club for people in Cornwall, music, Inventors' report, an autobio and various other projects: http://geocities.yahoo.com/longevityrpt Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=13481
