When I was more active at Alcor, I found this to be true.

There at least two ways of looking at this. We can complain about them, for
certainly they are not doing the right thing by putting off their
suspension arrangements; OR we can work hard and patiently to try to help
them get signed up.

This is one reason (on the short list) why I want to work together with
others to create a cryonics community, to have a place where people can
come and get that final, gentle push into being signed up (there are many
other good reasons why I want the cryonics community to come into being).

I know it is frustrating to see so many people who know about cryonics and
consider themselves cryonicists, but are not signed up, yet.

So a short rant every thousand years is permissible, but only one and then
get back to your objective, charming way of helping people. :=) A wise
man once said: You help more flies with honey than vinegar.
