The ODP is an attempt to make an edited, annotated directory of the Web, using tens of thousands of volunteer editors who might be knowlegeable in their areas. It is has been so successful that the ODP list is now being used as the basic (or a basic) component of over 100 search engines and index sites, including Netscape, Lycos, Hotbot, Oingo, SavvySearch, and EuroSeek. I am the volunteer editor for Cryonics, Cryobiology, Cryotechnology, and CryoSurgery, and all subcategories thereof. Cryo-categories now have a total of 307 sites, with a lot of fascinating materal that you probably have never seen. If you have a site, please check your listing to make sure it is up-to-date. If you know of other useful sites I do not have listed (especially in Cryobiology, Cryosurgery, and Cryotechnology), please let me know. I try to be inclusive of all major groups and sites. Some personal sites are included if they contain unique material; but I am not trying to list every site in the world that uses the word "cryonics." ** For the general index to the ODP, go to: http://dmoz.org/ ** For Cryobiology, go to: http://dmoz.org/Science/Biology/Cryobiology/ Subheadings include: *Sperm, Ova, Embryo Storage*; *Supplies and Equipment;* and *Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Storage.* ** For Cryonics, go to: http://dmoz.org/Science/Biology/Cryobiology/Cryonics/ Subheadings include: *Books;* *Cryonics Humor and Satire;* *Futuristic sites of interest to Cryonicists;* and *Simple Introductions to Cryonics.* ** For Cryotechnology, go to: http://dmoz.org/Science/Technology/Cryotechnology/ Subheadings include: *Absolute Zero;* *Cryogenic Equipment;* *Cryogenic Processing of Materials;* and *Gases and Liquids.* ** For Cryosurgery, go to: http://dmoz.org/Health/Medicine/Surgery/Cryosurgery/ Steve Bridge Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=13762
