Subject: Green tea?

Green tea.

Last weekend I heard on the radio something that appeared to be a long
infomercial for a concentrated decaffinated green tea, called something
like Erba Green Tea (could be herbal, but it appeared to be a brand name).
There were extravagant claims for the therapeutic effects of this
concoction, due to some phenols in it.

I have to stay away from tea because most teas are high in oxalates, which
are a problem for people like me who have kidney stones. I would appreciate
any information on the real value of green tea, and/or these phenols.

Also, I think that David Pizer may be a bit too pessimistic with respect to
the chance of future people willing to re-animate us. Actually, our small
numbers may help. I am sure that if we could reanimate today people who
were born around 1800, there would be some millionaire or a historical
foundation that would provide the funds in order to interview these people.
So I would actually be more worried if we became a mass movement.
