How common is it for cryonicists to have funeral ceremonies? Most
cryonicists are atheists. However even atheists often have funerals
conducted by friends or humanist organizations. At the funeral of a
cryonicist, God may be present, but man will not be. The remains, or at
least the most significant part thereof, will necessarily be elsewhere. How
is this complication dealth with?

I do not believe that a patient who is undergoing suspension is aware of
his or her funeral arrangements. However family and friends certainly are
and may be upset if the funeral is omitted or is not peformed in a
traditional fashion. What is the custom among cryonicists?
