While even fully developed nanotech won't create gold, there's every reason
to think that it would bring new ways to mine even very unproductive (or
already worked-over) ores. This should tend to lower the price of anything
scarce. But how much might prices be lowered for, say, gold, compared to
other commodities? Anybody's guess.
