Many positive developments from 21cm have focused our attention on
vitrification
technology for suspension a bit above LN temperatures. This is wonderful
stuff but
it seems to me that we should lavish an equal measure of attention on some
of the
deleterious chemical processes that occur immediately after death. Ischemic
damage
is only one part of a much larger problem and I'm hoping that we may find
ways of
mitigating much of the damage by administering a new  class of drugs upon
clinical
death.

By the way, what is Mike Darwin doing these days?
