X-Message-Number: 14185 From: Daniel Ust <> Subject: Abortion update Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2000 09:41:35 -0400 A few months ago, I brought up the issue of cryopreserving aborted humans. I made and make no claims to originality with this idea. I believe several others have brought it up before me, but only to discuss it among the cryonics community. I was more interested in using it as an outreach tool than a debating topic... Anyhow, Thomas Gramstad (http://www.ifi.uio.no/~thomas/po/articles.html) also wrote an essay on this from an Objectivist or, more precisely, postObjectivist viewpoint. This essay tries to tackle some of the ethical and potential legal issues involved. He's still looking for a place to have it published. I only mention it here to show I still have interest in subject as do others, even some from outside the cryonics community. Live long and perspire!
