Subject: Heart memories

"A few years ago there was a book written - I believe it was called
Change
of
Heart - by a woman who had undergone a heart-lung transplant and
subsequently
underwent some profound personality changes. When she awoke from the
operation, she immediately asked for a beer even though she had never
liked
beer. (You guessed it - the donor was an avid beer drinker.) She
seemed
to
have acquired aspects of the donor's personality and memories. Her
experience led her to research the phenomenon called "cell memory" and,
ultimately, to seek out the donor's family and find out more about his
life."
