The mother of one of my colleagues had a cardiac arrest at age 64. She was resuscitated after 25 minutes of CPR, but by then brain damage was so extensive that she was considered brain dead after a few days. I wondered if any work has been done on cooling people heads during CPR? Our community could benefit from pushing this idea.
