For me, this is explanation enough for why Eric Daly complained that
the book was "falsely advertised".  As soon as the words "22nd century"
are mentioned, in whatever context, the words "science fiction" leap
to mind, setting expectations sadly mismatched with the book itself,
which seems to be more of a docudrama.  I have no problem with 
docudrama, but I think I'd feel jarred if I were expecting science
fiction.  I'm glad I saw this before I started reading the book,
which I just received -- I think I'll enjoy it much more.
