Yet humanity imposes these controls on itself - in this respect as a species it is self damaging. If an individual self-damages we call him insane and lock him up for his own good. Is there any more logic to controlling whether people move from country to country than controlling movement from town to town or indeed even house to house or even between rooms in their house? With GPS technology such control would be possible. Another point - when South Africa and the USSR were "pariah nations" *internal* movement controls were regarded as one of their bad points by propagandists writing against them. I have no vested interest in any of this - I am very fortunate in being happy where I am. But that doesn't make it right that other people treat each other this way. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz my homepage links to Longevity Report, Fractal Report, music, Inventors' report, an autobio and various other projects: http://www.geocities.com/longevityrpt http://www.autopsychoice.com - should you be able to chose autopsy? ----- Original Message ----- From: "CryoNet" <> > Message #14306 > From: > Date: Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:01:16 EDT > Subject: Mr. Wakfer- sorry about the hooligans > > It's amazing how much effort the US puts into trying to stop people from > coming here and doing productive work.
