Pizer's Frustration

First let me thank Mr. Metzger for his 6 points of advice. I wish
Kevin would send a copy to everyone when they first apply to to be on
his "net."

Next I respectfully disagree with Charles Platt. I think a dissent
newsletter will be counterproductive. I admit I am no expert on this
matter. However, I know of at least one long time Alcor prospect that
recently signed up with another organization and I "feel" that we have
lost several others because they are not comfortable with this
squabbling that is going on.

I just think that we are wasting a lot of time and creativity
correctiong each other, when we should be working hard to build a
cohesive organization that can raise the money to do the research that
is needed to improve our suspension techniques.

The fallacy is (in my humble opinion), that many cryonicists think that
we are preserving enough brain matter in a good enough state that
cryonics might work. However, many of the "experts" in cryonics feel
that we are not. It is, perhaps, this false feeling that we already
have workable cryonics that allows our members the luxury of wasting
time fighting with one-another. Instead, we should be fighting hard to
raise money and bring in new members (some with money) so that we might
be able to save our lives.
