This is a open reply to Courtney Smith, ( re: open letter to
Ralph Whelan )

 >He asked:

What would motivate Saul to destroy Alcor if that is the only
way to realize his grand plan? What is Saul's grand plan? Why do
you think that Keith is next?

Ask Saul, he is not shy about his grand plans. as to why I say keith
is next I think this is proof enough, and only a blind man wouldn't
see it here's Saul's open letter to the Board asking Keith resign.
   Anymore questions??!!!

>Open letter to Keith Henson and the other members of the Alcor
>Board:

 >Keith Henson's "open letter to the board and Saul Kent" is a
 >perfect example of why so many Alcor members who have observed
 >Keith in action have become convinced that it is inappropriate for him
 >to continue to serve on the Alcor Board. By predicting the likely
 >failure of Steve Bridge's Presidency before Steve even takes
 >office, Keith presents a scornfully negative opinion of Steve at a time
 >when Steve needs the heartfelt support of everyone on the Alcor board.
 >By appearing to relish the prospect of Steve's failure as Alcor's
 >President, Keith forces Steve and the rest of the board to
 >question his motives as a member of the board. By threatening Steve's
 >supporters with the wrath of "history" if his predicted downfall
 >of Alcor occurs, Keith invites the contempt of those who have
 >already lost confidence in his motives.

 >I find the jealousy and arrogance displayed by Keith in his
 >letter utterly outrageous. In 1988, when Carlos assumed the Presidency
 >of Alcor, as an untried and unproven leader, I helped him in every
 >way I could. During the next four years, I worked closely with Carlos
 >and the Alcor Board to help Alcor grow and prosper. It was only
 >after I came to the conclusion that Carlos is not the right type of
 >leader to guide Alcor into the 90's that I took action to oppose his
 >presidency.

 >My decision to oppose Carlos was based on my experience with
 >Carlos over a long period of time, along with the opinions of other
 >Alcor members who had dealt with Carlos during that period. It was in
 >no sense an impetuous decision, nor was it in any way self serving.

 >In my opinion, Keith's clearcut bias against Steve Bridge, a
 >full 47 days before Steve has even assumed the office of the Presidency,
 >has completely destroyed any value he might have had as a member of
 >the Alcor Board. I think it is obvious that Keith no longer has the
 >objectivity to fulfill his role as a member of the board in a
 >responsible manner. I think Keith owes it to Alcor to resign
 >from the board and leave policy-making to those who are capable of giving
 >Steve their whole hearted support.

 >Keith's technical contributions, his hard work and dedication,
 >and his commitment to Alcor's suspension team have been of great
 >benefit to Alcor. His relentless energy and enthusiasm in
 >recruiting new members for Alcor has contributed significantly
 >to Alcor's growth and development. I value Keith contributions
 >greatly in both of these highly critical areas, and I know that
 >many other Alcor members share my appreciation for Keith's many
 >contributions to Alcor. We all expect Keith to continue to make
 >these (and other) contributions to Alcor and look forward to
 >working with him in the future.

 >(signed) Saul Kent

 >Do you think that Al Lopp is not following through on his
 >position papers? Why do you call Al a liar? I trust Al and Mark; does
 >that make me stupid? Prove it.

Get Al to post his position paper and compare what he said with
   what he did.

 >Do you really believe that only Ralph can stop the bullshit;
 >that everyone else is impotent? What does it take to manipulate
 >the board?

Ralph is the swing vote. It takes 5 votes to manipulate the
   board.

 >Do you think Alcor is worse off "since Saul started trying get
 >control"? In what way? Who made the decisions that got it
 >worse, if you believe it is worse?
 >Are you suggesting that we ignore the "issues" and concentrate
 >on kicking out the new Directors and Saul?

Worse off. In many ways, starting with lack of confidence by all
who know what is going on. Saul made it worse. Kicking out the new
directors sounds like a good program to me, maybe with some help
from the FDA to get rid of Saul.

 >Your credibility as a person who is concerned about Alcor is
 >suspect: you aren't a member anymore.

I no longer have any confidence Alcor will be around after the
   next crisis.

 >I welcome constructive criticism of the new Directors, Saul,
 >and Steve but your letter wasn't constructive, only critical.
 >Back up your assertions and I will back you.

You cant be constructive in a pissing contest, but I can back up
what I say, and you know it. I saw the letter to you just before I
left. Saul left you in the dark on something which could get you in a
lot of legal trouble as a director of Cryovita. He didn't tell you
about Paul Wakfer cheating on his taxes when he talked you into
replacing Hugh with Paul. Paul's tax cheating was something Saul and
everybody at the lab knew because Paul blabbed about it all the time.
Saul doesnt care what laws he breakes, or others break and Steve gets
an ok from Saul before he takes a dump. Is this the guy we want
   calling the shots at Alcor?

 >Put up or shut up.

I put up. But Please don't back me up I don't look very good with a
knife sticking out of my back.

 >And this is an open reply to Saul.

 >Saul says,

 >I don't know you.
 >I've never spoken to you.

Yeah, you walk through Alcor like you own the place and look
right through the people who do the work, and look down on them as not
fit to speak to. You did that to me dozens of times. Last time I
   saw you.....

 >You know nothing about me.

Bullshit. I dont know what color toothbrush you use, but nobody
around Alcor in the last year could avoid knowing a lot about
   you.

 >Who are you to judge me?

A person you scorn who did real work around Alcor.

 >How do you know what's best for Alcor?

I dont know what is best, but I know you are no good for Alcor.

 >How do you know anything?

   By keeping my eyes open.

 >Why should anyone believe anything you say?

   Don't and see what happens.

 >So as Courtney would say "Put up or Shut up!!!"
