It had a huge impact. I'd always joked about how I'd decided "not to die" when people bemoaned death's inevitability. Suddenly my little joke actually had some merit. Suffice it to say I'm in the process of gobbling up everything I can read on the topic. I've just started reading Ettinger's, "Prospect of Immortality", am in the middle of Drexler's, "Engines of Creation, and pretty much have read all the online ezines mentioned in this list. The real irony is that I live in Jerusalem and according to an insurance agent I met on this list I can't sign up to any cryonics org. via insurance until I move back to the states (which should be early next summer). So, for now I'm enjoying my life, the impending arrival of twins (due in Jan) and just hoping I don't die in the next year! There you have it.
