        No.

        Because kT is much larger than the orientational energy of 
proton spins in any reasonable magnetic field, paramagnetic 
demagnetization is a hopelessly inefficient way to remove heat at room 
temperature.  Also, the kind of internal cooling described is only 
useful if we want to cool rapidly, which we do not want to do in 
cryonics because then cells freeze intracellularly (very bad) instead of 
intercellarly (not as bad).

        I think Daedalus should go back to school and learn some basic 
physics, neurobiology, and cryobiology.
