X-Message-Number: 15163 From: (Rick Potvin) Date: Fri, 22 Dec 2000 19:06:12 -0700 (MST) Subject: Cryofeast Japan I thought perhaps it might be possible for everyone to electo-wave Kaburagi (I believe that's his name) in Japan starting at Dec. 24 13:00 (AZ time Dec. 23 7 pm, CA time 6 pm, East Coast 5 pm) in my realtime-posted message board (now with new improved chat room!) as he begins his Cryofeast-- the last announced Cryofeast of 2000 that I know of. Simply click on this link http://network54.com/forum/90802 and post a message. You can be anonyomous if you want-- I don't care. I just think that this type of web-based forum is pretty cool and adds some interesting possibilities to the current base-line Cryonet communication tool-- like instant response. Check it out, cryofans. By the way, I'm going to be at Jillian's, a hot new nightclub in North Scottsdale (Alcor's neighbourhood-- it's 2 minutes away) from 4 to 7 pm on Wed. Dec. 27, 2000. Items on the menu start at 4 bucks, there's draft beer, and TV's at every table. I'll have cryonics videos playing at my table with the overhead dish-speaker. If you're able to make it, just locate the video-DJ and ask him to point you in the direction of the "cryogenics guy". I hope I don't have to sit there alone-- but if I do, it's a great place to meet someone new. I'll just tell her, "yeah, my cryonics friends are pretty cold, ya know". Ha ha. Okay, so don't forget to say hi to Kaburagi at the appointed times. Dec. 23 7 pm Arizona time, and you can work it out from there wherever you are. I've emailed him and told him I'd be posting this to Cryonet. No pics or audio files yet, but maybe next year, eh? Rick Potvin, Alcor Member #1348.
