However I am not sure of the legal ramifications of "attempting to join" rather than "being expelled". Despite having (theoretically unlimited) costs being offered, there is the question of loss of time and stress such a case may bring, and this would undoubtedly result is less research being done. There is a balance to be drawn between the loss of research and advantages of defeating the attitude currently held by those imposing their views of life and death over the Society for Cryobiology. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz my homepage links to Longevity Report, Fractal Report, music, Inventors' report, an autobio and various other projects: http://www.geocities.com/longevityrpt http://www.autopsychoice.com - should you be able to chose autopsy? > > Message #15341 > Date: Sun, 14 Jan 2001 23:35:20 -0500 > From: Paul Antonik Wakfer <> > Subject: Ettinger's Mischievous Associational Remarks - CryoNet #15333 > References: <> <del> > If Mr Ettinger and CI are willing to provide for legal expenses, I > expect it would not be hard to find a cryonicist who would be willing to > attempt to join the Society for Cryobiology while openly and blatantly > espousing cryonics. <del> > Message #15200 > From: > Date: Wed, 27 Dec 2000 12:54:47 EST > Subject: media, SfC etc > <del> > In might in fact be a heaven-sent opportunity if the Society did expel > someone, already recognized in cryobiology through publication in a > recognized journal, perhaps including Cryobiology, the journal of the Society > for Cryobiology--for a difference of scientific opinion!!!
