Subject: another Wakfer quickie

Wakfer clearly thinks of himself as objective, and tries to be. Yet he has
two very different standards.

In technology, he wants precision even at the expense of succinctness. That's
his privilege.

But in talking about people, such as me and Fred Chamberlain, he uses a very
different and much looser standard, using exaggeration and guesswork about
character and motivation. For example, he has repeatedly talked about me with
terms like "complete misunderstanding" and "willfully misleading," based
(yes, I am guessing now) on his past resentments.

Surely no one can seriously suggest that I have a "complete" misunderstanding
of vitrification!

If Wakfer can try a little harder to use a single standard, I think our
differences could be reduced to matters of degree, perspective, and emphasis.
That would be helpful.

After all, he needs help too. He is not currently signed up with any cryonics
organization, because they all fall short of his requirements. If we all
focus on improvement and understanding, maybe one day that will change.
