Subject: Flames are damaging your chances of being revived

I support Henry Hirsh's call for peace in the Cryonics movement by calling
to your attention an insidious damage of personal attacks.

Most people in the various companies have a personal stake in the goodness
of the services they offer because they themselves plan to use these
services. So they will be inclined to seek improvement whenever possible.
However, the kind of bickering that we have seen here tends to create
psychological barriers to each company adopting the best practices of the
others.

This does not mean that we should not exchange opinions on the merits of
different alternative procedures. Just that we should not get into personal
fights about it. Remember, when you foster animosity towards another
person, you reduce the chance that you will be willing to learn in the
future from that person if they come up with a useful improvement.

And you may pay for this with your life.
