X-Message-Number: 1586 From: whscad1!kqb (Kevin Q Brown +1 201 386 7344) Subject: CRYONICS Long Life Day Jan. 12, 1993 is the 26th anniversary of the freezing of Dr. James Bedford, the first man to be cryonically suspended. He is still frozen today, at Alcor. Last year (after the 25th anniversary) a few names were proposed for this day and I suggested calling it "Long Life Day". As I pointed out then, long life "is a universally understood and (almost) universally desired goal, so it should have a lot of popular appeal. (We just add our own twist to it!)" Put it in your calendars. Kevin Q. Brown INTERNET or Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=1586
