Like John de Rivaz, I too am waiting for a definitive posting on the subject
of immigration to the U.S. But I do have one suggestion.

One free and easy (but unlikely) way to immigrate to the U.S. is to win the
Green Card Lottery. 50,000 green cards are randomly given away annually.
If you are young and enter the lottery every year, chances are you have a
green card by the time you need cryonics. Some countries are excluded,
however, currently including Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom;
fortunately Norwegians are eligible.

It is completely free and ridiculously simple to enter; you just have to look
past all the law firms trying to profit and keep you ignorant, and find a
government site for information (I was stupid enough to pay $50 to be
entered the first time).
