John, here is a speed reading software device. Studies show we can read much
faster if the words are shown one after the other rapidly and in the same

location each time. This program allows you to import text then it displays it 
in
this fashion. It also helps one learn speed reading by allowing adjustment from
one word to a line of words to be displayed successively as if scanning down a

page of text. The key to speed reading is to learn how to not sound the words 
out

internally at conversation speed. It's not easy to do and maintain comprehension
but practice helps.
