Subject: Correction--And an Apology

Dear Cryonet Readers,

Rudi Hoffman here in Daytona.

On my "Darwin is *BACK*" posting, I inadvertently and erroneously gave a very
serious misimpression. I wrote something to the effect that Darwin may be
one of a handful of people who may be able to do cryopreservation such that
nanotech would not be required for resuscitation.

This was wrong on my part, because the folks at ALCOR and current
vitrification researchers are the ones first likely to do this.

With ALCOR having access to 21st Century Medicine protocols, materials, and
vitrification, and skilled surgeons, the best chances of non-nanotech
viability will in all likelihood be with them. Again, IMHO.

My sincerest apologies for this oversight in my posting.

Rudi
