The following letter is being mailed to all international members of Alcor:

Dear First_Name :

As you may know, Alcor has recently updated its membership requirements for
international applicants. All incoming applicants are now required to provide
suspension funding by either prepayment in U.S. Dollars or by purchasing an
insurance policy from an American provider. We hope that all members will
understand and appreciate that policies such as this are implemented to insure
that Alcor s reputation for financial strength and long-term accountability
will remain exemplary.

However, it is important to understand that these changes do not affect
existing memberships, such as yours. This rate increase in suspension funding
minimums is only applicable to new, incoming applicants.

Please also understand that, it has been a long-standing policy of the Alcor
Board of Directors to grandfather suspension funding amounts for any given
member at the rate that was required at the time of his or her membership
finalization. This policy cannot be guaranteed in the event of runaway
inflation or other major financial displacement, however, the Alcor Board is
firmly committed to this policy.

As Membership Administrator, it is my pleasure to assist you. If at any time
you have questions regarding the status of your membership, please contact me
for clarification. I can be reached by phone (480-905-1906 ext. 114) or by
e-mail (), whichever is most convenient.

Best Regards:

Jennifer Chapman,
Alcor Membership Administrator

of clinical cryovitrification with over 525 members who
have pre-arranged for biostasis. Alcor's Emergency CryoTransport

Emergency Medical System (EMS). Alcor CryoTransport Technicians,
as with EMTs and Paramedics on an ambulance, are advised by our
Medical Director, Jerry Lemler MD or other physicians who are Alcor
members and/or contract physicians.
