But I agree with your point. This movement still lacks critical mass;
first, it lacks critical mass of money (and recent events are reducing the
chance that ANY cryonics-related group will be able to bring in more
financing).

Second, it lacks a critical mass of people who are committed yet can be
perceived by the outside world as sane and honest. I know I can say this
much without fear of contradiction, though of course there will be no
consensus as to who the crooks and loonies actually are . . . and my own
perspective on that has changed with time and experience.
