Why come to Extro-5?  Here's one pretty darn good reason:



I was recently in NYC giving a talk at manTRANSforms Conference.  Several 
speakers reved up the audience with doom and gloom. While I've been chipping 
away at the resistance to transhumanity for years, it apparent now, more than 
ever, that we need to strategize. Loud voices are ringing out a salvo to the 
tune of  global warming, globalization, GEO, techno utopianism, etc.



Strategizing how to deal with the mounting angst toward megatechnology requires 
more than one discipline and more than one skill.
