Would someone please point out to me the name of the logical fallacy
in this statement that is characterized by the use of disparaging
words in place of logical arguments? For example, the preceding
would have an entirely different meaning, though just as little
logical validity, if rewritten as "Here you have the patiently-
repeated acknowledgement by a gay pride advocate that if one claims
that the condition is a deficiency, one is a "bigot"..."

Maybe it takes more than one fallacy to construct that one? Help me
out here....

As an African-American, I must say that in my experience I have
heard those words uttered by far the most often (especially with
emphasis) by bigots. I think Shakespeare encapsulated it well in
"The lady protests too much, methinks." (Hamlet Act III, scene 2).

Incidentally, many homosexuals have children.

You mean like being a bigot? :-) By the way, I didn't see
claim that there was nothing wrong with him.
He just refuses to accept the assertion that homosexuality is
one of those things.

Along another line, <stomping down urge to resort to some
*serious* name-calling> that doesn't seem to make much sense,
since by your own definition celibacy is also a deficiency. After
all, if celibacy were universal, that would also doom the species.
