I may respond more,or to more of your post,
when the daily Cryonet digest arrives. But I
just want to make clear that I'm not going
to be bounced into making the nonsense
statement "homosexuality is wrong".

The condition and the conduct are two separate
things.I take issue with the position that the
condition constitutes an excuse for the conduct,
which position weds them in the eyes of defenders
of both. The condition is what I consider the
existence of to be deplorable, similar to ones
like tone-deafness or color-blindness.(Or my
own cited deficiencies,nearsightedness and
hearing loss. That a condition ought not to exist
in no way says that those with it ought not to
exist).

I consider someone who wilfully engages in a
homosexual act to be making a "wrong" choice.
Which is not to say that this mistake should
be legislated into a crime.I'm more vehement
in wanting laws against euthanasia/assisted
suicide, because there the person's desire to
do something wrong is more harmful.

This really plays back to my debates with
Mike Perry on right-to-die.I believe in putting
people's needs ahead of their desires.

I'm sure this simple airing of my views has
let enough people pigeonhole me as a Foolish
Bigot.But I call them as I see them,not as
others would have me see them.
