Hi Louis,

Thanks for your mail.

It is great that you `call them as you seem them, not as
others would have you see them'. Surely that's the beginning
of wisdom. Everybody should think for him- or herself.
Further, thinking for yourself is the first step to cryonics,
and i hope you can take the others.

And thanks for your clarification that you believe the `condition'
(predisposition?) to be `deplorable', but it is the conduct which is
`wrong'. (This is not sarcasm. Being precise is crucial for clear
thinking. And maybe i still don't know your position?)

I still think however that you can study what Mike wrote with
great profit. Is his reasoning sound? Has he made logical mistakes?
Has he misquoted any scientific findings?

In fact, if you find material error in his writing, i predict he'll
be delighted to have a chance to refine his position. But it
will have to be some real error. Something along the lines of
`you have misapplied the xyz principle of logic in concluding
B from A', not something along the lines of `the inability
to appreciate heterosexual relations is like being tone deaf'.
[Man, i hope i'm not destroying some subtle point you're
trying to make.]

Wishing you the best, and hoping you find a way to arrange for
cryopreservation,

dan
